Zero Latency VR offers all kinds of gaming and geek-related experiences, including one based on the universe of Ubisoft'spopular Far Cry series. Its latest adventure, teased during the Warhammer Skulls event, will place players in the service of the Imperium of Man. Warhammer Space Marine VR: Defenders of Avarax casts you as a genetically engineered supersoldier. You'll journey into the Hive City of Fervastium to battle the ever-expanding horde of Tyrannids, aliens from beyond the known reaches of space.

You'll use weapons far too powerful to be wielded by normal men and take on odds no soldier in their right mind would dare. For those who really want to impress the emperor, there is a Threat: Lethal setting. Teamwork, communication, and tactics will be necessary to emerge victorious. Threat: Lethal allows reviving allies, ultimate tactics, and levels that restart if the entire team gets wiped. There's also the danger of friendly fire, so don't point those insanely powerful weapons at your teammates.

In all, Zero Latency offers three different Space Marine experiences for this adventure. There's a way to slay for everyone in the family. Climb leaderboards locally and globally to find out who has cleansed the stars of the most Tyrannid filth.

Zero Latency has more than 100 locations, and more than four million players have teamed up to battle zombies, would-be dictators, and now Tyrannids. If there's anything we learned during the Warhammer Skulls showcase, it was that wherever gaming exists, there is a Warhammer project either already there or one in the works. This is one I'm definitely going to try soon.
