If there's any brand that loves partnerships as much as Star Wars, it's Monopoly. There's a version of this board game for every fictional universe that has geographical locations in it, which is well, all of them. There may well be a Monopoly: Allegory of the Cave out there. Scopely's insanely popular Monopoly GO will be one with the Force from May 1 - July 2 for an event.

Players will be able to collect a Star Wars Go Sticker Album with the likes of Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, and Kylo Ren. Monopoly Go's mini-games will take place in locations such as Tatooine and the Mos Espa Grand Arena.

During the two-month event, players will have lots of chances to collect tokens, shields, emojis and do puzzles, challenges, and activities. Here's a trailer for the event:

Has there ever been a gaming glowup like Monopoly GO? Its board game version is notorious for taking an entire evening to play. But broken down into bize-size moments for a mobile version, it has taken a seriously huge chunk of the portable gaming market.

Since launching in April 2023, it's the fastest ever mobile game to gross $3 billion in revenue. More than 300 million players have sent invites to friends, players have passed go more than 100 billion times, and destroyed more than 50 billion landmarks. It averages 10 million daily players and will surely pick up some new fans thanks to this Star Wars collab.

If there's anything we learned at Star Wars Celebration Japan, it's that if you have a favorite game Star Wars is on its way there. Fortnite announced a summer event with Star Wars as well, bringing the absurd but enjoyable Darth Jar Jar meme to life.
