When does Indiana Jones and the Great Circle take place?

The Indiana Jones franchise has been a movie staple for nearly half a century. The first Indiana Jones movie, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, was released back in 1981. Since then, the franchise has grown greatly with plenty more movies, a handful of comics, and even a newly announced video game.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to expand upon the franchise even further, only this time as a video game. While The Great Circle won't be a film adaptation, there is still going to be lots of information that we learn about Indiana Jones and what he has been up to in between movies.

When is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle set?

While Dial of Destiny took place more than 30 years after the original movie was set, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will take place in 1937. That means the game will take place between Raiders of the Lost Ark and the Last Crusade.

This means that we will see Indiana Jones take it back to the original days of the franchise to see what exactly adventures he was embarking on in between movies.

Unfortunately, Harrison Ford himself will not be making any appearances in the video game, but there is still a lot to look forward to. Instead, the incredibly talented Troy Baker will be taking on this role as he will attempt to take us back to the 1937 time period.
