Earlier today, during Xbox's Developer_Direct, we finally got our first look at Bethesda's upcoming Indiana Jones game. Officially titled Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the upcoming game — currently in development at MachineGames — puts players in the shoes of the legendary archaeologist on a brand new journey.

Heading into the Developer_Direct, we didn't really know what to expect from MachineGames' Indiana Jones game. Not much has been revealed or talked about since the game's announcement a few years ago.

That changed today, and I couldn't be more excited for it. The epic adventure is set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. In typical Indiana Jones fashion, you'll set off on a globe-trotting adventure, uncovering clues and solving an ancient mystery.

Just from the brief trailer, it seems that MachineGames has absolutely nailed the tone of the Indiana Jones. The music, the action, the one-liners and quips — it literally feels like the movies. And with Harrison Ford not getting any younger, games might be our only way to experience the adventures of Indiana Jones moving forward. Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to experience this game.

Is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle an Xbox exclusive?

As I mentioned, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is being developed by MachineGames, a studio owned by Bethesda. You may recall that Bethesda was acquierd by Microsoft, meaning all their studios are now technically under the Xbox umbrella.

That makes Indiana Jones and the Great Circle first-party title for Xbox. So is it an Xbox exclusive?

Bethesda confirmed that Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC later this year. It shouldn't be too surprising that there was no mention of PlayStation since the precedent was set with Bethesda's previous blockbuster, Starfield.

While you won't be able to play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PS5, it will be released on PC as well. And, as a first-party Xbox title, it will be available day one on Game Pass.
