New games coming to Xbox Game Pass in March 2024

March is here and not only does that mean the 2024 MLB Opening Day is right around the corner, but that also means that there are new games heading to the Xbox Game Pass this month. Each month, Xbox announces via the Xbox Wire a handful of new games that will hit the Xbox Game Pass.

This month there are a lot of interesting games hitting the Xbox Game Pass including two that will arrive on day one of their release.

Every game coming to the Xbox Game Pass for March 2024

• Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun (Cloud, Console, and PC) (Available NOW)

• PAW Patrol World (Cloud, Console, and PC) (Available March 7)

• SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (Cloud, Console, and PC) (Available March 12)

• Control Ultimate Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) (Available March 13)

• No More Heroes 3 (Cloud, Console, and PC) (Available March 14)

• Lightyear Frontier (Game Preview) (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) (Available March 19 DAY ONE)
  

• MLB The Show 24 (Cloud and Console) (Available March 19 DAY ONE)

The fun has already begun as you can already download and start playing Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun if you own an Xbox Game Pass subscription. The rest of the games that will be releasing this month will be sprinkled throughout the first half of March.

There might be a few games on this list that really catches your eye, but I think it is safe to say that the biggest release coming to the Xbox Game Pass this month is MLB The Show 24 which releases on the Xbox Game Pass on Day One of its worldwide release.

MLB The Show 24 features the electric Vladimir Guerrero Jr. as this years cover athlete and has the perfect release date to get everyone excited for MLB's 2024 Opening Day on March 28. MLB The Show 24 is also one of two games releasing Day One on the Xbox Game Pass with the other being Lightyear Frontier.

Lightyear Frontier allows you to create a new life in a robotic world where you can farm alien crops and explore a futuristic world where you hope to make it your new home. Lightyear Frontier also releases worldwide on March 19.

As for any of the other games on the list, the beauty is that you can try any of them without paying any additional charges. As long as you own the Xbox Game Pass, any game on the Xbox Game Pass is available for you to download and play in full.

If you aren't an Xbox Game Pass owner and want to play MLB The Show 24 for just the cost of the Game Pass' monthly subscription, March would be the perfect time to subscribe to it. Xbox is always adding new games to their service, and it never appears that they are slowing down in any sort of way. Just rememeber that not every game that makes its way onto the Xbox Game Pass stays there forever. If there is a game you want to play, you got to play it while you have the chance.
