MLB The Show 24 is set to release on Tuesday, March 19, with early access available on Friday, March 15, for certain pre-orders. This year's game will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch and, once again, it will be offered for free to those with an Xbox Game Pass subscription.

With Xbox Game Pass, you'll get the standard edition of MLB The Show 24, which is fine if you don't care about all the extra in-game bonuses or early access. But what if you want all of that stuff? Or what if you want to play early?

The good news is those with Game Pass are eligible to upgrade for a price. If you pre-order MLB The Show 24 through the Xbox store, you'll want to select the "Digital Deluxe Add-On Bundle." This costs $39.99.

As noted in the description, it does not include the actual game but gets you all of the Xbox Standard Edition, MVP Edition, and Digital Deluxe Bonus Content.

In total, you're looking at 20,000 Stubs™, 2 Diamond Choice Packs, 5 Gold Choice Packs, 20 The Show Packs, 1 Equipment Pack, 1 Cover Athlete Bat Skin, and Double Daily Rewards.

It also notes in the description that if you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and pre-order the Digital Deluxe Add-On Bundle, you'll get to play MLB The Show 24 on Xbox on March 15, 2024 — four days before its full release.

MLB The Show is the premiere baseball video game. It's easily the best available baseball sim on the market. This year's game doesn't see too much improvement in terms of actual gameplay, but does include some expanded content and modes, including a career mode with female players, dubbed "Road to the Show: Women Pave Their Way." There's also the return of Storylines: The Negro leagues, alogn with an additoinal Storylines mode that follows Derek Jeter's career.
