Helldivers 2: Mechs are coming, but what are they?

If you have gotten the chance to play Helldivers 2, you will understand the hype surrounding the game. Besides some early bugs and errors that have plagued the game early on, the game as a whole has been a lot of fun. Throughout the course of the year, Arrowhead Studios will be making updates and adding content to their game. One of the first biggest additions coming are Mechs.

What are Mechs?

Developers Arrowhead Studios have confirmed that Mechs are coming to Helldivers 2. In a post on X, they posted a picture and explained that the EXO-45 Patriot Exosuits are in production and will be released soon.

The post has definitely generated lots of hype and gamers can't wait to get their hands on these Mechs. Apparently, these Mechs have been in production even before the game was released. However, they just didn't have them fully designed and perfected until just about now.

There has been some leaked gameplay footage that has made its way online and we have gotten to see a glimpse as to what to expect from these Mechs. In the simplest terms, they are just a giant machine like shown in the X post that you can jump into that allows you to shoot from a minigun or shoot missiles. In other words, they are giant machines of destruction that players can control. Hence why players can't wait to get their hands on these Mechs for themselves.

As far as any other information goes surrounding these Mechs, not much else is known. All we know is that they are "coming soon," but we don't know what "coming soon" means. That could mean in a couple of weeks, by the end of the months or by May. Arrowhead Studios has yet to confirm when they beasts are making their way into Helldivers 2. There is also no information as to whether or not there will be different types of Mechs.

Unfortunately, we are going to have to wait just a little bit longer in order to see this Mechs in actions. However, when they do make their way into the game, expect lots of destructions!
