Everything we know about the rumored Legend of Zelda LEGO set
Just a few weeks ago, it was reported that LEGO is once again teaming up with Nintendo to create new sets based on one of the publisher's beloved IPs: The Legend of Zelda. So far nothing official has been announced, but the leaks stem from reputable sources.
Both 1414falconfan and Falcon Bricks, two credible sources for LEGO news and leaks, have confirmed The Legend of Zelda LEGO sets are coming. So what do we know about them?
What we know about the rumored Legend of Zelda LEGO sets
As of this writing, there's only one set that has been leaked. It will be one inspired by the Great Deku Tree.
The rumored set is said to consist of 2,500 pieces and will offer two build options: one with green leaves and another with cherry blossoms. It will also include a few minifigures, such as LInk with a Hylian Shield.
The set is expected to release September 2024 and while we don't have pricing, it's speculated that the set could cost around $250.
LEGO's history of collaboration with Nintendo
LEGO has worked with Nintendo on several video game-inspired sets. One of their biggest collaborations is with Super Mario.
There are tons of Super Mario-themed sets, but one of the most popular is the Nintendo Entertainment System for $269.99. There are countless others available as well though.
LEG has also released several Animal Crossing products. Inspired by Nintendo's adorable sim, there are LEGO sets for Nook's Cranny and Rosie's House, Isabelle's House, and Kapp'n's Island Boat Tour.
The Legend of Zelda, though, is one of Nintendo's most iconic and beloved franchises. If Nintendo were to release sets based on this video game series, it would almost certainly be in high demand.
Again, nothing official has been announced yet, but LEGO typically waits until a few months before the set is scheduled to release before making an official announcement.
