Do you need an internet connection to play Redfall?

Redfall has officially turned one year old. Over the course of the past year, Redfall has gotten mixed reviews, but a majority of them has leaned towards the more negative side of things. Arkane Austin tried to bring all their prior success from Prey and Dishonored and put it towards their take on a vampire franchise, but things did not go as planned.

Luckily, for those who have enjoyed Redfall, the development team has continued its support over the past year to bring a few updates into the game. However, the official Redfall X page announced that there is one final update they are working on that will be coming soon.

What is included in Redfall's final update?

The final Redfall update will make a lot of singleplayer gamers happy. It was very well known that prior to Redfall's release in 2023, you were going to need an online internet connection to even play solo. While this isn't always the biggest problem for everyone, there are certain gamers who don't always have a stable internet connection all the time that like to play a majority of their games offline. That is all about to change.

The final Redfall update will be bringing a "revamped Neighborhood and Nest systems, Single Player Pausing, Offline Mode, and more." This is either a moment you have been waiting for, or simply just another update.

Even though Redfall didn't have the greatest success over the past year, I give Bethesda a lot of credit on continuing to update their game and try to provide the best experience possible for their players.

As far as some of the other features being added in the update, more of that will be announced soon. There is also not a set release date for the final update, but I am sure that will also be announced soon.

It is unfortunate that Redfall didn't have the best launch, but the game is still trying to finish strong. If offline Single Player was something you were waiting for, you will not have to wait too much longer to get your wish.
