College Football 26's most overpowered run also works in Madden 26

Does it feel like some of your opponents have been playing Madden 26 for two months already? Now that College Football is back, those who play it will have some advantages over those who are just starting their 2025 football journey. Hey, getting you up to speed is what I'm here for. Let's start with a run you need to add to your gameplan.

Some players are having such a hard time moving the ball on the ground they're calling for a patch. I don't know if one is incoming, but I know this run is legit. The Chicago Bears playbook is one of the game's best, and the play HB Direct Snap out of the formation Gun Y Off Trips is one of the biggest reasons.

This play is in Iowa's playbook in the CFB 26, and as I mentioned last month, it's being banned in some tournaments. It's effective against both man and zone defenses, and if you're playing with regular lineups, the speedy D' Andre Swift will get the ball with this run's built-in speed boost.

Anything so powered it's banned when playing for money is a play worth using. You've got the tight end and two wide receivers blocking to the right, and it's really easy to get gone with this. I've popped a couple of 200-yard games with Swift doing this. It's annoying enough that it earns ragequits.

In Ultimate Team, any running back you can dream of can run this and pile up insane yardage totals. Backs with an X-Factor such as Freight Train can easily activate it off this play, and once that big, glowing X is under their feet, you may never need to run another play.
