Some plays in a video game are just way better than other plays. Some are so much better, in fact, that they threaten to break the game itself. One running play in College Football 26 falls into this category.
HB Direct Snap, out of the Gun Tight Slots formation in the Iowa playbook, has some serious power. We've had direct snaps in EA's games before, but they typically had to move toward the designed side of the field. This run comes out lightning fast, so if you want to cut it outside, you've got more than enough time to do that. Also, if the runner has the Shifty ability that allows faster cuts, he can create all kinds of chaos.
I've heard that some College Football 26 competitive events are banning this run because of how OP it is. That said, it's not banned when you fire up the console of your choice. I know some people would prefer I didn't bring you the cheese, but that's my job. If I know about it, so do your online opponents. I'm here to give you the info, what you do with it is your choice.
And hey, if you spend more time in single-player modes, that's cool. I have zero problem with spamming a broken play against the computer, after all, it doesn't play fair either. The higher difficulty levels in EA's games come not from any AI advances, but from lowering the ratings on your players. Do what you gotta do to beat the computer on Heisman, folks.
