Call of Duty: Black Ops 6: Everything we know about Nuketown
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is in full swing and while there are many new maps for players to get used to, everyone is wondering when the iconic Nuketown will be available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The bad news is that as of this writing Nuketown isn't playable. The good news is, you won't have to wait much longer because Nuketown will be available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 starting November 1.
Everything we know about Nuketown coming to Black Ops 6
The return of Nuketown doesn't come as a surprise. Nuketown is one of the most popular Call of Duty multiplayer maps of all time and it would come as a shock if Treyarch didn't include Nuketown in a Call of Duty: Black Ops installment.
Call of Duty released a Nuketown Launch Trailer to get everyone ready for Nuketown's return on November 1. The trailer showcased some Operators doing battle on Nuketown with action shots of different areas of the map. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until the final seconds of the trailer.
As the trailer winds down, you can see the Nuketown Population counting down and when it reaches zero, it appears as if a Nuke has finally gone off and then the trailer ends. Many people have begun to speculate that Nuketown will finally be destroyed and that the new Nuketown map will just be a map of debris and remains of what is left of Nuketown. That would be a cool twist to finally showcase a Nuke going off at Nuketown. It appears that this version of the map will be quite different from previous Call of Duty installments.
The other thing that players are speculating is if there will be a Nuketown 24/7 Playlist. Leaks have begun circulating online and it appears that a Nuketown 24/7 Playlist was found in the game's files. If this turns out to be a true leak, then it would make the most sense if Nuketown 24/7 also debuts with the return of Nuketown on November 1.
Nuketown has always been an iconic map and I am glad to see it make it's return to the Call of Duty franchise. With that being said, are their any other maps you hope to see make their return to the franchise for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?
