As I mentioned last week, Fallout 76's Burning Springs update did not get off to a great start. Aware that the delays made lots of players unhappy, Bethesda has announced its plan to make good on the long awaited update.

"We wanted to say thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigated the login issues that many faced during the launch of the Burning Springs update.

To provide a boost to help aid your adventures in Burning Springs and your newly found Bounty Hunting career. To do just that, we’ve put together a fun package for you all."

Seven Days of Extra Daily Challenges and an Extra Weekly

Every day from December 5,12 PM EST until December 12 you’ll see an extra challenge called “Gain a Level” and the S.C.O.R.E. you will be awarded for completing that challenge will be doubled.
We will also be adding an extra Weekly challenge that will appear alongside our reset on December 9.

Free S.C.O.R.E. Booster

Today at 12 PM EST, a free S.C.O.R.E. Booster will be made available for everyone on the Account page of the Atomic Shop. This one-time booster claim will remain available until Tuesday, December 9.

Caps-A-Plenty Starts Today!

To aid in your Bounty Hunting adventures, we’re kicking off Caps-A-Plenty early (starts at 12 PM EST)! Get ready to sell some items to your favorite vendor, get your Caps, and go buy some Head Hunts from The Ghoul.

Caps-A-Plenty will end at its previously announced schedule date of December 15.

This much anticipated addition to Fallout 76 takes players to Burning Springs, a wasteland ruined not just by nuclear war but the environmental poisoning from a nearby chemical plant. This harsh world is now ruled by The Rust King, a Super Mutant who has some serious survival of the fittest energy.

Burning Springs also introduces The Ghoul as played by Walton Goggins, one of the stars of Amazon's hit TV show. He's a key player in the new Bounty Hunting feature. You can track down some of the meanest so-and-sos in the Fallout 76 universe, earning caps, XP, and glory for your hard work.
