Titanfall 2 is one of the best shooters of all time. While there have been many rumors of whether or not we will see a Titanfall 3, fans still have the second game to look back on and cry about how awful EA is.

After hearing about the update to Titanfall 2, I decided to go back in and give it a try as I hadn’t picked it up for the last year or so due to the insufferable state of the online servers. However, this was fixed in a recent patch giving hope to Titanfall 3 sequel to those willing to believe it.

Jumping back into the game I was instantly taken back to 2016 when the game was released. The movement is fluid, the guns are smooth, the Titans are fun to play as, and the game runs incredibly even on my GTX980 GPU.

What used to take 5-10 minutes to find a game due to disconnections, now takes me a top of 80 seconds to find a game. Kotaku even reported that the player count at one time was above 25k giving life back to the dormant shooter.

Fans also pointed out that the recent APEX update provided some odd numbers that are in reference to release dates of other Respawn games including Titanfall, Titanfall 2, and Apex: Legends.

Titanfall has had many issues going back to the release date of servers failing and many other issues such as latency and hacking, but the latest patch, at least for me over the weekend, gave some much needed love to a game that deserves all the care and love.

Could Respawn announce Titanfall 3 even after Vince said they canceled it?

One can only hope we get another “Your Titan is ready, pilot” in the near future.
