EA FC 24: How to play early access right now

EA FC 24, the new name for EA’s annual soccer game (previously released under FIFA), is set to launch this month. With a release date of September 29, you can actually start playing EA FC 24 right now.

EA FC 24 is technically available to play in early access. It actually began a couple of days ago.

So how do you jump in and play right now ahead of launch?

How to play EA FC 24 early access

There are two ways to jump into early access and start playing EA FC 24 ahead of its global release on September 29.

The easiest way, which is also the more expensive option, is to purchase EA SPORTS FC 24 Ultimate Edition. This costs $99.99 and allows you to play seven days ahead of the game’s launch. Well, now it would be five. This version also comes with some in-game bonuses such as 4600 FC Points, access to Nike Ultimate Team Campaign, TOTW 1 Ultimate Team Player Item and Nike Ultimate Team Loan Player Item for 24 Ultimate Team matches & Nike x EA SPORTS FC Ultimate Team Kit.

At this point, if you haven’t already purchased the Ultimate Edition and don’t care much for the digital bonuses, then paying $99.99 just to play five days ahead of the game’s release may not be the best path.

Instead, you may want to think about becoming an EA Play member for $4.99/month (you can cancel any time). One of the perks of being an EA Play member is access to 10-hour game trials for every new release. This applies to EA FC 24.

Although it’s labeled a “trial,” this allows you to play the full game with no limitations or restrictions for up to 10 hours. At that point, you can choose to purchase the game (with a 10% membership discount) with all of your saved progress carrying over to the full game.

Now 10 hours isn’t a ton of time to play, but with just five days left until EA FC 24 releases, it could be just enough to hold you over. At the very least, it’s a more affordable option right now than the Ultimate Edition if you don’t care about the digital bonuses.
