NHL 24 Pre-order: What comes in each edition?
EA Sports announced that NHL 24 will be released on October 6 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Now that a release date has been established, you can now begin getting in your pre-orders. This year NHL 24 will once again just focus on a couple of different editions. You have the Standard Edition, and the X-Factor Edition is once again making a return.
NHL 24 Standard Edition
If you are looking to purchase the Standard Edition of NHL 24, your options are Xbox or PlayStation. For the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the Standard Edition costs $60. If you purchase the game on Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5, it is going to cost $70.
You don’t get anything extra special just for purchasing the Standard Edition, but you do get some added bonuses if you pre-order the game.
- Base Game
- HUT Power Up Icon Choice Pack
- WOC Battle Pass XP Modifier (X5)
The HUT Choice Pack and the WOC Battle Pass XP Modifier are two bonuses that will help you get started in two of NHL’s biggest game modes. It is interesting to see that World of Chel will be featuring a Battle Pass this year. A new and exciting way to earn rewards to customize your skater. Besides that, there are not any other bonuses you will be receiving with just the Standard Edition.
NHL 24 X-Factor Edition
The X-Factor Edition of NHL 24 is where you are going to find many bonuses. The X-Factor Edition costs $99.99 for both Xbox and PlayStation consoles. It may cost an additional $30, but you do get a pretty decent bang for your buck.
- Base Game
- HUT Power Up Icon Choice Pack
- WOC Battle Pass XP Modifier (X5)
- Dual Entitlement
- 3-Days Early Access
- 4,600 NHL Points
- Exclusive Cale Makar Player Item
- *LIMITED TIME OFFER*: Pre-order by September 25 and receive a HUT Team Building Player Choice Pack (2 of 32) plus pre-order content!
If you are looking to play on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 or vice versa with the Xbox platforms, you are going to want to purchase the X-Factor Edition. This edition includes Dual Entitlement to make sure you can upgrade and transfer your content over from one generation to the other.
You will also get the chance to play NHL 24 three days early, and a decent head start on Hockey Ultimate Team. If any of these above bonuses interest you, it may be worth the extra $30. Especially if you are a hardcore NHL video game fan.
There you have it. These will be the only two copies of NHL 24 that will be available this year. If you plan on pre-ordering the X-Factor Edition at some point anyway, you might as well do it before September 25 so you can get the added HUT Team Building Player Choice Pack.
