Epic Games can get your Fortnite account permanently banned if you violate their Code of Conduct. Although the game is not overly exciting at the moment, you will want to familiarize yourself with what not to do when spawning into Epic Games’ Battle Royale.

Fortnite WILDS has been a letdown following the success of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. The new POIs are a nightmare to navigate in Zero Build, and without a true mobility item, matches are just not as competitive as they should be. Plus, the season lacks any pop culture crossovers the game is famous for.

Fortunately, FNCS Major 3 is underway, and all participating players (and viewers) will want to make sure their accounts are safe in the upcoming months.

5 Ways to Get Your Fortnite Account Permanently Banned

There are a handful of ways that will get your Fortnite account permanently banned by Epic Games. If you commit one of the following acts, you can expect to be banned from Fortnite:

  1. Cheating
  2. Impersonation
  3. Teaming
  4. Participating in hateful conduct
  5. Promoting illegal activities

Cheating is the quickest way to get your Fortnite account permanently banned. Epic Games does a great job at keeping cheaters out of lobbies, especially in Fortnite Ranked. They also take teaming very seriously, as shown with the past ban of Fortnite pro, Cody “Clix” Conrod.

Of course, players should also never engage in any type of hateful conduct or discrimination, as well as any promotion of illegal activities. If you are reported doing either of the following, Epic Games can permanently ban your account.

Impersonation might not feel as obvious as the other four ways, but just know you are not allowed to pretend to be another person, especially a professional player or content creator.
