Nintendo has announced via their Twitter page that their third Nintendo Direct of 2023 will be taking place this month. The Nintendo Direct will begin on June 21 at 7:00 A.M. PT. The Nintendo Direct is expected to last right around 40 minutes and will give fans a better idea of what to expect heading into the second half of 2023. Nintendo also states that we will also be getting new details about Pikmin 4.

This may be just the perfect time for Nintendo told hold their next Nintendo Direct. The first Nintendo Direct of 2023 did a great job at providing details for Metroid Prime Remastered and provided more information about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The second Nintendo Direct of 2023 was held in March and mainly focused on the Super Mario Bros. Movie. With those major announcements in the rearview mirror, this is perfect to give gamers a better idea as to what they should expect in the coming months.

Obviously Pikmin 4 is going to be a major highlight going into this Nintendo Direct. Rumors have been circulating that Pikmin 4 will be just the second Nintendo video game to use the Unreal Engine. I am sure that if Nintendo is going to confirm something like this, it will be taking place during this Direct.

Some other video games you can expect to get some news on is most likely Everybody 1-2 Switch which releases on June 30. There is also a very good chance Nintendo reveals more information on the Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet DLC. Fans know the DLC is coming, but there has been no confirmation as to when. There isn’t a better time to announce it then on June 21, during the Nintendo Direct.

The show is going to only be roughly 40 minutes in length. Meaning there is a good chance that the show will be highlighted by Pikmin 4, Everybody 1-2 Switch, and the Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet DLC. However, you never know if Nintendo plans on throwing a couple surprises our way.
