Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct 2023: When and how to watch

Summer Game Fest 2023 kicked off with a bang earlier this week, featuring exciting announcements, surprising reveals and jaw-dropping trailers. But we’re not done yet. Today, it’s Xbox’s turn to showcase what they have in the pipeline.

Of course, we all know that Starfield is on the horizon, but there are plenty of other games set to arrive this year and beyond for Xbox. There’s Fable, The Outer Wilds 2, Forza Motorsport, and more. Hopefully, today’s showcase features some of these highly anticipated games.

Where to watch the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase?

The Xbox Games Showcase streams live on Sunday, June 11 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time / 1:00 p.m. Easter Time. You can tune in through any of the Xbox or Bethesda video channels, including YouTube, Twitch and Facebook. Or you can just watch it from here.

If you’re the type who prefers to simply read up on the news afterwards or just can’t watch live, then Xbox will have detailed write-ups for each big announcement. Of course, we’ll also be sharing our thoughts on the show as well afterward.

Where to watch Starfield Direct?

Following the main Xbox Games Showcase will be the Starfield Direct. There’s no exact time listed, but you can simply leave it tuned to the same livestream to watch.

The Starfield Direct will offer gamers a behind-the-scenes look at the development of Starfield, and feature tons of new gameplay, developer interviews and more. Starfield is set to launch on September 6, 2023, so this will probably be the last major in-depth look at the game before it releases.

Xbox Games Showcase Extended

Today won’t be the only event from Xbox. Like last year, there will be a follow-up stream offering interviews with the developers of many of the games shown during today’s Xbox Games Showcase. The Xbox Games Showcase Extended will air June 13 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET.
