Madden 24 pre-order details: Deluxe vs Standard Edition
Madden 24 was officially announced today and with the reveal comes the availability of pre-orders. This year’s game will be available to purchase as either the Standard Edition or Deluxe Edition. So what comes with each?
Madden 24 is due to launch worldwide on August 18. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Madden 24 Deluxe Edition ($99.99)
The Madden 24 Deluxe Edition is the top-tier option, but you’ll also be paying top-tier money for it. It costs a cool $99.99, which is $30 more than the Standard Edition, and grants three-day early access (start playing on August 15), Dual Entitlement (so you can upgrade from last-gen to current-gen), 4600 Madden Points for use in Ultimate Team or to customize your avatar with new uniform designs.
It also comes with a limited-time AKA Player Item if you pre-order by July 22, 2023. You’ll also get a Josh Allen Elite Player Item, choice of two Strategy Items for offense or defense, and NFL Marble Bills gear.
Madden 24 Standard Edition ($69.99)
The Madden 24 Standard Edition is much more straightforward. It comes with the base game and, surprisingly, Dual Entitlement already included. You’ll also get the Josh Allen Elite Player Item, choice of two Strategy Items and NFL Marble Bills gear. So the only thing you aren’t getting in the Standard Edition that you will get in the Deluxe Edition is the three days early access starting on August 15th and the 4600 Madden Points.
EA has put even more focus on realism in this year’s game thanks to the next evolution of FieldSENSE along with the introduction of the all-new SAPIAN Technology. This technology will only be available on current-gen systems and PC; however, with both editions including Dual Entitlement, you’ll automatically get a free upgrade should you choose to upgrade from a last-gen to current-gen console. The downside is you’re paying $69.99 regardless of which console generation you are playing on.
