The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is still one of the best, if not the best, Legend of Zelda game of all time. From beginning to end, that game was nearly perfect. Over the years, we have seen a lot of changes to The Legend of Zelda games. One of these changes that we have seen is Link’s original outfit from Ocarina of Time. Link doesn’t have that outfit in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but you sure can go out and acquire it if you would like.

The Ocarina of Time Armor Set from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom consists of three pieces. You are going to need the Trousers of Time, the Tunic of Time, and the Cap of Time. Acquiring all three of these pieces of armor will give Link that old school look that he had from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

How to find the Trousers of Time in Tears of the Kingdom

First things first, you are going to need to acquire the Trousers of time. The Trousers can be obtained by first traveling to the Depths by entering through the Gerudo Summit Chasm located in Gerudo Summit. As you glide down into the Chasm, you won’t be far from the Trousers when you enter the Depths. Not far from when you land, there is a broken down temple looking area. The exact coordinates of this area is X: -4179, Y: -0694, and Z: -1121, just in case you don’t see it when you are gliding down into this area. If you make your way here you will see a chest that contains the Trousers of Time.

How to find the Tunic of Time in Tears of the Kingdom

The Tunic of Time is also located in the Depths. This time you want to enter the Depths from the Hyrule Ridge Chasm that is located just North of Mount Rhoam, an area located in Hyrule Ridge. When you get to the Depths you are going to want to open the map and look South. You should see an area on the map called Lindor Canyon Mine. The bulky brown square that you see on the map in the Lindor Canyon Mine is where you want to go. This area has a chest that is extremely easy to see once you arrive in this area. The Tunic of Time is located inside of this chest.

How to find the Cap of Time in Tears of the Kingdom

The Cap of Time is going to take you the longest of the three armor pieces to acquire. Just like the Tunic and the Trousers, the Cap of Time is located in the Depths. Just like you entered the Depths with the Tunic of Time, you are going to want to enter the same way by using the Hyrule Ridge Chasm. When you get down here, head Northwest to an area called Sherfin’s Lavafalls. At the coordinates X: -4538, Y: 2880, and Z: -0707, you should see Nupisoyuat Lightroot. Make your way to this area.

When you are in this general area, you are going to then want to travel to the coordinates X: -4176, Y: 2587, and Z: -0561. At these coordinates, you will see what appears to be a giant tree root that is sticking out of the ground. Jump on top of this root if you aren’t already and continue to follow the root as it takes you up. Take it all the way up. On your way up you will notice some lava waterfalls. If you see these lava waterfalls, you know that you are going in the right direction.

When you see the big lava waterfall to Link’s right you are going to want to stop on the rooted path. There will be two Poes on the ground that you can use as a point of reference. To the left of the giant lava waterfall, you should see a pointy rock that has just enough of a platform to support a chest. Inside this chest is the Cap of Time. Paraglide Link over to this pointy rock, climb up and open the chest to acquire the Cap of Time.

Now that you have all three pieces of the Time Armor, you can throw it old school to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. While there are better Armor Sets in Tears of the Kingdom, this Armor Set is worth the nostalgia alone. There is something about Link in the Time Armor that is worth every second you spend to acquire it. If you want a little nostalgia in your Tears of the Kingdom experience, I highly suggest going on the hunt for this armor.
