The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: All 4 Great Fairy Locations
How to find the Great Fairy Kaysa in Tears of the Kingdom
The Great Fairy Kaysa is located Southwest of Lookout Landing at the Outskirts Stable, which is also just West of Aquame Lake. At the Outskirts Stable, you will see the musicians playing music once again. However, this time is a bit different. Instead of just taking them on the wagon and taking them to Kaysa, they state that Kaysa likes the sound of a flute player. Unfortunately, these musicians don’t have a flute player with them, so you need to find one.
To find the flutist, you are going to have to travel very Southeast to the Highland Stables. When you are approaching the Highland Stables you will begin to hear the sound of someone playing the flute and it is coming from the trees. Climb up the tree and talk to the flutist named Pyper. You need Pyper to come back with you in order to release Kaysa from her bud, but Pyper will only come back with you if you help him out with something first.
You are going to need to collect Fireflies for Pyper. You will need to either catch these Fireflies or buy them from Beedle at the shop. It doesn’t matter how you get them, Pyper just wants these Fireflies. When you have the Fireflies that Pyper needs, you will need to go inside the Highland Stables to grab the child inside and bring them back to Pyper by his tree.
Now that you are finished helping Pyper out, you can return to the Outskirts Stable. Talk to the musicians again and they will let you know that you need to repair the wagon once again. The area you will need to be traveling to isn’t actually reachable with horses so you will need to build this giant cart looking contraption with big wheels and set the wagon on top of it. Talk to the musicians yet again, and they will jump in the wagon so that you can bring them to Kaysa.
You should see the bud of Kaysa on top of the giant rocky mountain. Take the contraption up the rocky mountain and let the musicians play a tune to release Kaysa from her flower bud.
