There are plenty of horses that you can acquire in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Not every horse is the same and acquiring different horses require different steps to obtain. Epona and Zelda’s Golden Horse are some of the best horses that you can obtain in Tears of the Kingdom. However, the Giant White Stallion is arguably the best horse that you can acquire in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom because of the horse’s unlimited stamina.

How to get the Giant White Stallion

If you are looking to acquire the Great White Stallion, you first need to open up your map and locate the Highland Stable. The Highland Stable is a great marker to use on the map to find the location of the Giant White Stallion. With the map still open, look slightly Southeast and you should see the Horse God Bridge.

You are going to need to travel to this location and travel across the Horse God Bridge and continue along the path. You should eventually come across this majestic horse in this small area. Once you have spotted the horse, you are going to need to sneak up on it and try to mount it. You are going to need lots of stamina to successfully be able to tame it.

This massive horse is going to do everything in its power to try and throw you off. During this time, your stamina is going to begin to drain quickly. In order to counter this drain in stamina, it is recommended that you have enough stamina replenishing foods with you. This way you can pause the game when your stamina is getting low, eat some food to replenish your stamina, and continue trying to tame this absolute beast.

Once the Giant White Stallion is calmed down and you are successfully able to ride the horse, make your way back to Highland Stable to register your new horse.

What makes the Giant White Stallion so sought after in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is definitely in unlimited stamina supply. This makes exploration a whole lot easier because you don’t have to stop because your horse is getting tired.

If you are a big fan of trying to complete as much content as possible, getting the Great White Stallion will be essential for a few Side Adventures. So having this horse in your Stable is not a bad thing by any means.

The Great White Stallion also has a five-star strength rating making it a very strong horse. Naturally this horse has high stats and is definitely worth the expedition to try adding this horse to your Stables.

While there are a lot of positives about this majestic beast, there are some decent negatives as well. Even though you have unlimited stamina, this horse is very slow. If you don’t mind trading some speed for stamina, then this shouldn’t be an overly big problem to deal with. Exploration may seem endless with the Great White Stallion, but riding this horse is more like going for a stroll in the park. Which isn’t necessarily always a bad thing.

You also won’t be able to customize this horse or upgrade it at the Horse God. Which once again, isn’t that big of a deal. The horse is already a beautiful looking horse. It doesn’t need any customizations. As far as the no upgrading goes, this horse’s stats are naturally high. Not upgrading this horse is not that big of a deal.
