There are many different ways you can travel throughout The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. One of the fastest means of travel is to mount a horse so that you can cover ground a lot quicker.

Each horse that you come across on your adventure all have different stats, but Zelda’s Golden Horse really triumphs over a majority of the horses. Zelda’s Golden Horse is arguably one of the best horses that you can acquire in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It is definitely a horse you want to add to your stable.

How to get Zelda’s Golden Horse

To begin your quest to find Zelda’s Golden Horse, you are going to need to have a conversation with Penn at Lucky Clover Gazette. Lucky Clover Gazette can be found East of Rito Village in the Hebra Region. By talking to Penn, you will begin the Side Adventure called “Potential Princess Sightings!”

Now that this Side Adventure has begun, make your way to the Snowfield Stable which is just South of Tabantha Tundra. You will see Penn again here talking to the NPC Harlow. You will need to talk to Penn and Harlow, and they will get you started on yet another Side Adventure called “Zelda’s Golden Horse.” The whole purpose of this Side Adventure is to locate Zelda’s Golden Horse that has disappeared due to it being spooked.

Zelda’s Golden Horse can now be found in the North Tabantha Snowfield roaming around. It is up to you to find the Golden Horse in this field and capture it. You may encounter other horses in this area, but you are looking for the Golden Horse. It won’t be hard to differentiate between the horses. Just look for the one that really is sticking out like a sore thumb due to all of its gold. If you are having trouble locating Zelda’s Golden Horse in this area, you can use the coordinates X:-1873, Y:3216, Z:0249 as a good starting location.

Once you have the spotted Zelda’s Golden Horse, sneak up on it and try to mount the horse. Try not to spook it. Once the horse is mounted make your way back to the Snowfield Stable and speak to Penn and Harlow one last time. They will be so thankful that you were able to find Zelda’s Golden Horse that they will reward you by letting you keep Zelda’s Golden Horse. Harlow also rewards you with a Royal Bridle, a Royal Saddle, Energizing Elixir, and 50 Purple Rupees.
