Does Star Wars Jedi: Survivor have New Game Plus?
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor offers players plenty to do in the form of side activities, extending the game well beyond the main story. But even with all the exploring, the game will take between 20 to 30 hours to complete in a normal playthrough.
Once you complete the story once, though, you don’t have to be done with your adventure. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features New Game Plus. Technically, it’s called New Journey +, but you can access it from the main screen following the completion of your first playthrough.
It should be noted that you don’t have to play New Game Plus immediately after completing the story. If you don’t want to reset your progress, you are free to roam the galaxy and continue playing your normal playthrough before jumping into New Journey +.
Once you do start New Journey +, you won’t have to start from scratch. All of your Lightsaber Stances are already unlocked, and you get to keep all of your Skill Points which are reset and ready to be spent. All of your cosmetics also carry over. You also get three free new Perks — Purity, Warrior and Trendsetter — along with new Lightsaber colors (Red for you Sith lovers and Party which is a multi-color option).
Of course, not everything is readily available to you in New Journey +. All of your abilities will be reset, so things, like grapple upgrades or being able to pass through the green barriers, will need to be reacquired during your New Journey + playthrough.
This is all fairly in line with what New Journey + offered with Jedi: Fallen Order. If you’re a true completionist who enjoys getting the most from your games, you’re probably going to want to tackle New Journey + on Jedi: Survivor.
That’s all for now but check back as we continue to unlock new secrets in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The game is now available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
