Following the very successful Diablo IV beta weekend, Blizzard has decided to give fans one more chance to visit the world of Sanctuary before the game’s official launch in June. Announced today, the Diablo IV Server Slam will run from May 12th through May 14 and will be available for all players on all platforms (PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4).

The goal of the Server Slam is to help test the durability of Blizzard’s servers to ensure that the game’s launch in June goes smoothly. Because we all know nothing is more frustrating than trying to log into an online game on launch day and being greeted with server queues and unexpected downtime.

Once again, the Prologue and entirety of Act 1 will be playable. This encompasses Fractured Peaks, the first zone, which is home to all sorts of additional side quests and open world activities. All five classes — Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue and Sorcerer — will be playable.

Ashava, a powerful world boss, will once again return and provide players with a glimpse of some of the challenges that await them in Diablo IV. Ashava will spawn starting on May 13 at 9:00 a.m. PDT and every three hours thereafter until her final spawn on May 14 at 9:00 a.m. PDT. If you can defeat Ashava, you will earn the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy.

The Server Slam also offers players the opportunity to earn the rewards offered during the Early Access and Open Beta weekends. The following will be available, unless you’ve already earned them:

Initial Casualty Title: Reach Kyovashad with one character.
Early Voyager Title: Reach Level 20 on one character.
Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic Item: Reach Level 20 on one character.
Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy: Defeat Ashava with one Level 20 character.

Diablo IV’s Server Slam will serve as a fresh slate, with none of the progress from the previous beta weekends carrying over. Additionally, none of the progress you make during the Server SLam will carry over to launch. The level cap remains at Level 20, although you’ll still be able to play after hitting this cap. All of the bug fixes and balance changes made as a result of player feedback from the betas will be included in the Server Slam.

The Diablo IV Server Slam will begin on May 12 at 12 p.m. PDT. Pre-loading will be offered starting on May 10 at 12 p.m. PDT.
