Resident Evil 4 Remake: How to get the Chicago Sweeper
One of the fun things that the Resident Evil 4 Remake brings to the table is the secret weapons that are hidden throughout the game. Currently, the Resident Evil 4 Remake has three secret weapons that can be unlocked. Each secret weapon requires some sort of special objective that needs to be completed before you can start using the weapon. One of those secret weapons that you can unlock is the Chicago Sweeper.
How to unlock the Chicago Sweeper
The Chicago Sweeper is an SMG that can pack a punch and most similarly takes model from a Tommy Gun. However, this isn’t just a weapon that you can purchase from the shop. There are a certain number of steps that you need to take before the Chicago Sweeper is in your possession.
Now that the Resident Evil 4 Remake has been out for nearly a month, many gamers have beaten the game already and maybe even more than once. If you are one of those gamers who have beaten the game already, you are one step closer to adding the Chicago Sweeper to your arsenal. That is because the first step on acquiring the Chicago Sweeper is to beat the game. If you haven’t beat the Resident Evil 4 Remake, go ahead and do that first. Enjoy your first playthrough and don’t worry about anything else.
Once you have beat the main story, you will unlock Professional difficulty. Professional difficulty is your key to unlock the Chicago Sweeper. If you already have Professional difficulty unlocked, start a new game on this difficulty. The goal here is to make sure you beat the game on Professional difficulty with an A Rank. To get this A Rank you need to complete the game in under 7 hours. This shouldn’t be overly hard to do given this would be your second time through the campaign. You should already know the ins and the outs and don’t really need to pay too much attention to the campaign as you just previously finished it.
Once you have met this objective and have complete Professional difficulty with an A Rank, the Chicago Sweeper is all yours. You can find the Chicago Sweeper in the Typewriter Storage. Just like the other weapons found throughout the Resident Evil 4 Remake, the Chicago Sweeper can have areas of it upgraded such as Power, Ammo, Reload Speed, and Rate of Fire, making it even more powerful than it is when you first unlock it.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake is a game designed to be played through multiple times. So, if you plan on playing through the game multiple times, take advantage of the secrets available to be unlocked. You can never have too many weapons in your arsenal when you have to face off against all the enemies thrown your way in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.
