10 gaming gems the Steam Deck has over the Nintendo Switch
The Steam Deck is a powerhouse for those who have ever wanted to play Elden Ring while going to the bathroom. Everyone knows about the high-spec AAA titles that can play on this hardware. But there are some secret and unique gems that the Steam Deck has that might never make it to the Switch.
In the list below, we’ll take a look at 10 games you can currently play on the Steam Deck that, unfortunately, might never make their way to the Nintendo Switch.
10. Vanquish
Vanquish is the Fast and Furious of cyborg shooters. It is an incredibly smooth shooter with intense fire fights. There is absolutely nothing about this 2010s game that the Switch couldn’t handle, but fans of this gem are going to have to get a Steam Deck to play Sega’s surprising 3rd person shooter it on the go. For those who like using giant buzz saw guns and laser missiles to destroy towering mechs this game is for you.
9. Killer Instinct
The world may never get a portable console from Xbox, but at least Steam Deck owners can play this Xbox One exclusive. Killer Instinct was a direct competitor to Mortal Kombat with a combo fighting twist. It also used to be a Nintendo exclusive during the SNES days. RARE jumped over to Xbox and we got this indie darling (by a different developer). Only Steam Deck players will be able to do C-C-C-Combo Breakers!!!
