Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the latest Pokemon video game to be released and the last one to be released in 2022. Since then, gamers have gotten more than enough time to try and build up their Pokemon arsenal and dive into all the content the video game has to offer.

As per usual, the Pokemon Trading Card Game released cards for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The latest debuted on March 31. Trading Card collectors have patiently waited for this moment and with the release of the newest Pokemon card set, collectors have begun seeking out to try and see if they can collect the rarest and most expensive card in the set.

There is no better feeling than opening a new pack of Trading Cards and laying your eyes on a rare card, worth tons of money. Sometimes you know exactly the card you are looking to hunt, and other times you might just be opening packs just purely for fun. Whatever the case may be, it is always good to know the most expensive Trading Cards in a set, just in case you ever come across them at some point. Since the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trading Card set is so fresh, you may not be familiar with the rarest cards in the set. Here are the five most expensive Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trading Cards

Five most expensive Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trading Cards

  1. Miriam #251/198 ($90-$100)
  2. Miraidon EX #244/198 ($65-$80)
  3. Gardevoir EX #245/198 ($60-$70)
  4. Koraidon EX #247/198 ($50-$65)
  5. Miriam #238/198 ($40-$50)

The Base Set of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trading Cards is not going to get you too much money. Although there is not a ton of money to be made, trying to collect every card in a set can be fun.

The most expensive card in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is Miriam #251/198. This is a Supporter card and if you are lucky enough to pull this gem, you can roughly get somewhere between $90-$100 ungraded. If you end up getting this card graded and it turns out to be a Grade 9 or a Grade 10, then the price of that card will skyrocket even further. This card is very different from Miriam #238/198. Make sure you check the cards set number to see which one you pulled. There is roughly a $50-$60 difference in the version that you pull.

The other Miraidon EX #244/198, Gardevoir EX #245/198, and Koraidon EX #247/198 cards are all worth a good chunk of change as well. They each also have some really unique artwork as well. If you have bought a booster box of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Trading Cards or packs, do not expect to find any of these cards with relative ease. They are worth that amount of money for a reason. They are pretty rare and the odds of hitting these in a pack are decently low as well.

Now that you know what the most expensive cards in the set are, keep your eyes peeled for them. If you end up acquiring one of the five cards on this list, you will have a couple of options. You can either save it and preserve it in a protective card case or you can seek out a buyer to take the card off your hands.
