Hogwarts Legacy will have you capturing and rescuing all sorts of Mythical Beasts thanks to the power of the Nab-Sack. There are many different things that you can do with the Beasts that you come across. You can tame them, breed them, and even sell them for a great source of gaining extra Galleons.

Of all the Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy, the rarest of them all is the Phoenix. The reason for that is that you can’t just go out and tame any Phoenix that you come across. There are certain steps that need to be taken before you can do that. After completing a few prior steps, you can actually capture a Phoenix all for yourself.

The first thing you have to make sure you have unlocked is The Room of Requirement. The Room of Requirement is going to be an essential part of your Hogwarts Legacy journey and is a crucial part in capturing a Phoenix as well. Once you have access to The Room of Requirement, you will eventually meet Deek. Deek will have all sorts of Quests for you to complete and you are going to want to complete every single one of them before you can get your hands on a Phoenix. Deek will teach you about the Nab-Sack, the Vivarium, and breeding your different Beasts.

As Deek is teaching you all you need to know about Beasts, he will eventually have a Quest for you called “Phoenix Rising.” The “Phoenix Rising” Quest will not become available until you have completed all of Deek’s Side Quests involving Beasts and you must also complete Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial Main Quest. Both of these requirements need to be met before the “Phoenix Rising” Quest is made available to you.

Deek’s “Phoenix Rising” Quest will lead you to Phoenix Mountain Cave where the Quest will continue to progress. Upon the completion of this Quest, you will have the ability to capture the Phoenix using your Nab-Sack and take him back with you to The Room of Requirement.

When you return back to The Room of Requirement and see Deek, the Phoenix that you just prior captured will automatically be released and head directly for the Vivarium. You now have your very own Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy, and you can take care of this legendary creature. The better you take care of your Phoenix, the more Phoenix Feathers you will receive.

Phoenix Feathers is a very rare resource, and your key to upgrading your wand to its fullest potential. Also, don’t get any ideas of selling your Phoenix or even think about breeding your phoenix because it is a one-of-a-kind Beast. This is the only one in Hogwarts Legacy, so you better take care of it the best that you can.
