What a crazy start to the 2022-23 NFL season. We’re only two full weeks in and already there have been a ton of surprises. The Giants and Eagles both 2-0? The Bengals 0-2? These are things I don’t think anyone could’ve predicted this — well, maybe Madden.

After compiling an 8-7 record in Week 1, Madden rebounded in a big way. Our simulations of Madden 23 correctly predicted 10 of the 15 games played on Sunday and Monday. And yes, it even correctly predicted the Cowboys to beat the Bengals with Cooper Rush in Week 2.

Let’s see how this week plays out according to Madden 23.

Madden 23 – NFL Week 3 Sim – 1pm Games

With a combined record of 18-12 on the season, we once again turn to Madden 23 to predict the scores of Week 3. We’ve got quite a few intriguing matchups, including the 1:00 p.m. game between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, two AFC East teams with perfect 2-0 records on the season.

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins

Sim results: Bills 26, Dolphin 14

The Super Bowl favorite Buffalo Bills remain undefeated and claim sole possession of the first place in the AFC East after easily defeating the Dolphins, 26-14. Allen was held mostly in check, throwing just one touchdown pass to Devin Singletary and rushing for another.

Tua also tosses a pair of touchdowns but to his two tight ends Mike Gesicki and Durham Smythe. Waddle catches 6 passes for 73 yards while Tyreek Hill is held to one catch for 16 yards.

Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders

Sim results: Eagles 24, Commanders 21

Jalen Hurts continues his near flawless play with a 113.7 Qb rating (19-30, 264 yards, 2 TDs) to lead the Eagles to a perfect 3-0 record to start the season. He also rushes for another 55 yards and a touchdown. Carson Wentz has a solid game, throwing three touchdown passes to Curtis Samuel (2) and Logan Thomas (1).

Kansas City Chiefs at Indianapolis Colts

Sim results: Chiefs 27, Colts 22

The Chiefs remain undefeated while the Colts remain winless. Patrick Mahomes lights up the Colts’ defense, throwing for 260 yards and three touchdowns. Although Jonathan Taylor rushes for 171 yards and a touchdown, Matt Ryan (18-32, 229 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) continues to struggle.
