Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 pre-order bonuses updated
We’re still a bit of ways out from the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 but if you already know you’ll be playing this game day one, then you’ve probably decided to pre-order it. As Activision already announced back when the Modern Warfare 2 campaign footage was released, there are two versions of the game you can pre-order, the Cross-Gen Bundle and the Vault Edition.
When previously announced, the Cross-Gen Digital Edition didn’t come with any special bonuses aside from early access to the Open Beta and Campaign. However, Activision has since updated this to add some pre-order incentives.
Now when you purchase the Standard PC or Cross-Gen Digital Editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 you’ll get the following:
- Final Judgement Bundle – Immediate access to the Final Judgement Bundle for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone
- Khaled Al-Asad Bundle – Access to the Khaled Al-Asad for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone when it becomes available in the In-Game store
The Final Judgement Bundle features a medieval executioner-themed Operator skin for Lucas, the Bloodthirsty Automation Blueprint, Calling Card, Emblem and Sticker as well.
The Khaled Al-Asad Operator Bundle meanwhile unlocks the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise’s key antagonist as a playable character. The bundle features two Legendary Operator Skins for Khaled Al-Asad plus two legendary weapon blueprints. You’ll also be able to earn additional rewards by progressing through Al-Asad’s Operator XP.
As of these additional pre-order bonuses also come with the Vault Edition. This is the more expensive of the two, priced at $99.99, an includes a bunch of digital bonuses such as the Red Team 141 Operator Pack, the FJX Cinder Weapon Vault (details to come), the Season 1 Battle Pass and 50 Tier Skips, the Ghost Legacy Pack with a dozen skils for the iconic operator plus 10 Tactical Weapon Blueprints, and 10 hours of 2XP.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to launch on October 28, 2022. In the meantime, be sure to tune into Call of Duty: Next, an event showcase for the franchise, on September 15th for a full reveal of Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer.
