Everything coming to Xbox Game Pass so far in August 2022

Xbox Game Pass is constantly expanding each and every month, adding new games weekly to the already large library. August 2022 is set to continue this trend and add a handful of new video games that Xbox Game Pass subscribers can download and explore for themselves.

Microsoft held an Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase back on June 12 that gave Xbox fans a glimpse into the future of what Xbox holds for consoles and PC. Shortly after the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase took place, Xbox released an image on Twitter with games that are coming to the Xbox Game Pass for 2022 and beyond. This image featured tons of video games, but the list wasn’t complete and of course those aren’t the only games that will be on the Game Pass over the next year or so. Xbox will be adding tons more as the months go by.

Every game coming to the Xbox Game Pass in August 2022

  • Ghost Recon Wildlands (Cloud, Console, and PC): Available Now
  • Shenzhen I/O (PC): August 4
  • Turbo Golf Racing (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S): August 4
  • Two Point Campus (Cloud, Console, and PC): August 9
  • Cooking Simulator (Cloud, Console, and PC): August 11
  • Expeditions: Rome (PC): August 11
  • Offworld Trading Company (PC): August 11
  • Midnight Fight Express (Console, PC): August 23
  • Immortality (Console, PC): August 30

For the month of August, there will be almost new releases hitting the Xbox Game Pass on consoles and PC almost every week. Available now on both consoles and PC is Ghost Recon Wildlands. The newest addition to the Ghost Recon franchise will take you on an adventure through the Wildlands. If you are a fan of the franchise and have the Xbox Game Pass, download it today and try it out if you haven’t already. Along with Ghost Recon Wildlands are eight other video games that will be available in short order.

Every game leaving the Xbox Game Pass in August 2022

  • Boyfriend Dungeon (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Curse of the Dead Gods (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Library of Ruina (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Starmancer (Game Preview) (PC)
  • Train Sim World 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)

Usually when games are added to the Xbox Game Pass, they tend to stay active in the library for quite a while. However, nothing lasts forever and sometimes games are just no longer available on to play on the Xbox Game Pass. The above five video games will be leaving the Game Pass within the next couple of weeks. If these are some games that you are interested in playing or keeping, download the game and try it out and if it is something that interests you, you will have to purchase the full game in order to keep on playing them.

There is no secret in saying that the Xbox Game Pass is the greatest deal in gaming. If you like video games, then you should own the Xbox Game Pass. There are constantly new video games coming to the service at no additional cost and there have been some pretty large AAA titles that have made their way to the service on the first day of their release.

Microsoft and Xbox do not plan on slowing down when it comes to their famous Game Pass service. The roadmap that we have gotten from Xbox back in June let us know that they have big things planned for the Xbox Game Pass and if you want to be a part of that experience then you should subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass and play all of the new and exciting games that hit the service.
