Amazon Prime Day 2022 promises 30 free PC games

You’ve heard of Christmas in July, well get ready for Prime Day in July. Amazon’s annual consumer holiday has gotten so big that the company can no longer contain it to one day. This Prime Day will actually span two days, running from Tuesday, July 12 to Wednesday, July 13.

For those unfamiliar, Prime Day is a massive shopping event hosted by the online retailer. It happens once a year, or in this case two days, and brings massive discounts to thousands of Amazon products, including headphones, laptops, 4K TVs, gaming accessories and more.

This year, Amazon Prime members will be able to claim 30 free games, including Mass Effect Legendary Edition, GRID Legends, Need for Speed Heat, Star Wars Jedi Knight – Jedi Academy, Star Wars Jedi Knight II – Jedi Outcast and Star Wars Republic Commando. These oldies, but goodies will be available for absolutely no cost beyond what you pay for your annual Prime membership.

We’re talking about some of the best sci-fi and Star Wars games for free. I mean, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, which includes the single-player base content and over 40 DLC from the Commander Shephard Trilogy games, is a must-play. And the Jedi Knight games are absolutely fantastic.

Additionally, Amazon will be giving away more than 25 indie games from June 21 through July 13. The list includes past favorites and first-time releases. Check out the free indie games coming our way this Prime Day:
