When it comes to Elden Ring, easy is a word that is not part of the game’s vocabulary. Difficult, hard, and frustrating are words that are more suitable for the Open world action RPG.

There are many things that can make Elden Ring difficult and frustrating. You can be trying to acquire some of Elden Ring’s Legendary items. Those aren’t the easiest to find and require lots of time and patience to acquire them all. You may be trying to discover as many of Elden Ring’s secret endings that you can unlock. Those are also not easy to unlock. However, something that cannot be avoided is fighting against some of Elden Ring’s bosses.

Who is Malenia, Blade of Miquella?

Elden Ring has many different bosses that you can encounter. Some are mandatory, but there are a good number of bosses that are purely optional. Sometimes you want to try and beat as many bosses as you can for the simple fact that it makes you feel more complete or maybe you just are seeking out specific drops from that boss. Whatever the case may be, if you are looking to defeat Malenia, Blade of Miquella, it is going to be a very tall task ahead of you.

Malenia, Blade of Miquella is no doubt the hardest boss that Elden Ring has to offer. If you are able to defeat Malenia, you can virtually beat any other boss in the game. Some may even argue that it is the hardest boss in any FromSoftware game ever created. It is a very tough task, but if you go about it the right way, you can make the clash a little easier on yourself.

Where can you find Malenia, Blade of Miquella?

If you want to go to battle with the hardest boss in Elden Ring, you will need to venture out to Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. If you are brave enough to take on this boss and make the journey to Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree you are one step closer to tasting glory. To find the exact location of Malenia, you can travel to the Haligtree Roots Site of Grace and travel down the stairs to be greeted with Malenia’s arena almost immediately. It should be noted that Malenia is an optional boss and does not have to be defeated to progress in the Elden Ring main storyline.

Getting to know Malenia

Getting to know what exactly Malenia plans on throwing your way when doing battle is going to be critical in helping you defeat her. I think what makes Malenia so difficult to defeat is her ability to steal your heath. Malenia has two different phases that you have to kill in order to officially defeat her. In both of her phases, she can heal herself with every hit she lands on you. Beating her without taking a hit is a nearly impossible task, that is why dodging her attacks is going to be crucial. Don’t expect to defeat Malenia without taking any hits, but try to dodge and block as much as you are able to.

Depending on what stage of your Elden Ring journey you decide to travel to fight Malenia, you may or may not have a highly upgraded shield. It is probably worth it to go into battle with a highly upgraded shield, but it is not mandatory to do so as long as you can master dodging her move sets.
