6. Dark Moon Greatsword
With all the different secrets and different places you can explore in Elden Rings, finding the Dark Moon Greatsword actually requires you to unlock one of the secrets endings that Elden Ring has to offer. This is going to be one of the most complicated Legendary Armaments to acquire, but it is well worth trying to get this Greatsword.
This will require you to start Ranni’s Quest. Ranni’s Quest is definitely not a short one and is going to take time and patience. There are a lot of different pieces of this quest, so just be prepared.
In order to complete Renni’s Quest, you will be required to get the Dark Moon Ring, which is located in a locked chest next to the Raya Lucaria Grand Library Site of Grace. You are able to unlock this chest using the Discarded Palace Key. Once you have the Dark Moon Ring, you can travel to the Cathedral of Menus Celes and put the Ring on the finger of Ranni. You will then be granted the Dark Moon Greatsword.
The default skill for the Dark Moon Greatsword is called the Moonlight Greatsword. This skill temporarily increases magic attack power and imbues blade with frost. Also, charged attacks release blasts of moonlight. This is going to be a long haul, but after you get this Legendary Armament, you are in the home stretch for acquiring all 9 Legendary Armaments.
7. Sword of Night and Flame
The Sword of Night and Flame is going to require you to do some running around. Make your way to the Manor Lower Level Site of Grace. You will then want to travel east along the rooftops.
When you reach the first intersection you will want to head north and continue on until the pathway ends. You will notice that there is a rooftop at the end of the pathway that you are able to jump down to. North of this rooftop there will be another lower rooftop with a ladder leading down to the ground. If you take this ladder down you will find yourself in a small room with a chest. Inside that chest you will find the Sword of Night and Flame. There are a lot of directions involved with getting this Legendary Armament, but at least there is no physical battle that needs to be completed.
The Night and Flame Stance is the special skill that is associated with the Sword. The unique stance allows you to hold the sword level and then in-turn have the option to follow up with a normal attack to cast the Comet Azur sorcery or follow up with a sweep flame attack causing Fire Damage. It is a very unique and powerful sword that is definitely worth the journey to acquire it.
