Ghost of Tsushima may be getting a sequel. Developer Sucker Punch is currently hiring for designers, and knowledge of Ghost of Tsushima is a requirement. Here’s everything we know about Ghost of Tsushima 2.

Ghost of Tsushima 2 potentially leaked in job listing

Two job listings appeared on the Sucker Punch website. They’re looking for a Technical Combat Designer and a Senior Combat Designer for their Bellevue studio. Notably, the listings specifically require candidates to have played Ghost of Tsushima.

Knowing the game’s core combat system is the first requirement, so it must be important for the project they’re working on. I’d be surprised if this wasn’t for a Ghost of Tsushima sequel, but there’s nothing confirmed.

The original Ghost of Tsushima was a wild success. It was meant to cap off the end of an era as the last major PS4 release before the PS5 came. Of course, it wouldn’t have been the last game for the PS4 given the supply constraints around the PS5. It still holds up, especially with the PS5 expansion.

The Ghost of Tsushima Legends spin off brought a mythological take on the game, and I’d love to see fantasy Ghost of Tsushima or another era from Japan’s rich history. There’s not much more for Jin to do for a sequel.

A new Ghost of Tsushima would take full advantage of the new PS5 hardware, and the original is already gorgeous even without PS5 enhancements. Sucker Punch must be putting a lot into this new game if they’re searching for new talent to evolve the combat system.

If it’s not for Ghost of Tsushima 2,  it could be another game that uses the same combat system.

If you’re hungry for more Ghost of Tsushima, give Legends a try. It’s free on PSN now, and is even more fun with some friends.
