Do you need a new car? Do you need a PS5? Do you live in Spain? Then I have the deal for you. Toyota España has partnered with Sony to deliver a Gran Turismo 7 edition of the Yaris GR Sport. Here’s what you need to know about the Toyota Yaris GT7 edition.

This Yaris GR Sport comes with a disc version of the PS5, Gran Turismo 7, another DualSense controller and three months of PS Plus.

Of course, you also get a car that you won’t be driving because you’ll be playing Gran Turismo 7. It releases the same day as Gran Turismo 7, March 4.

The GT7 Yaris is limited to 100 units, and has some Gran Turismo themed touches like badging and a keyfob. There’s a teeny tiny GT badge on the console with the serial number. It comes in the “Gris Dynamique” color.

It’s not much, and the Yaris GR here is the stock hatchback and not the hot hatch racing model. As a limited, special edition it feels weird, but does allow more people to purchase it at the lower price range.

This GT7 Edition will also be a prize for the Spanish Gran Turismo Championship, played with the new Gran Turismo 7.

It’s more of a promotional deal than a proper edition, but if you were in the market for all three products and live in Spain it’s probably not a bad deal.

It may also be one of the more straightforward ways to get a PS5, especially if you don’t want to deal with scalpers or predatory retailers charging membership fees for the chance to buy one. That is, if you were eyeing this car in the first place and are a Spanish Gran Turismo superfan.

You can get a Yaris in Gran Turismo 7, but it’s the 2020 RZ “High Performance” model unlike the base model the GT7 edition is. It’s somewhat strange that this partnered automobile isn’t playable in game. People love driving their real-life cars in sim racers.
