Shenhe Weapons

Shenhe’s Elemental Skill passes on a damage buff that scales from her attack. Any five-star Polearm will help her Attack, as the higher base Attack will make the Attack stats on her Artifacts higher.

Calamity Queller is her “made for” weapon, giving her an Attack boost after using her Elemental Skill. When Shenhe is off-field, this buff doubles. It also gives a 12% Elemental Damage buff, bolstering the off-field damage from her Burst.

Wavebreaker’s Fin is a limited Wish-exclusive weapon that was featured several banners ago. It’s unique among four-star weapons with a massive 620 base Attack at Lv. 90. Its passive ability increases the Elemental Burst Damage of the wielder based on the total energy capacity of the team. Shenhe’s own Burst has an Energy cost of 80, and the best characters she can support also have high costs.

Speaking of, Favonius Lance helps generate more particles to get your team’s Elemental Bursts back sooner. It has lower Attack than other weapons, but the battery utility can really help if you’re short on Energy Recharge across your team.

Lithic Spear is another limited Wish-exclusive weapon, currently featured in the first 2.4 weapon banner alongside Calamity Queller. It gives a buff that scales with how many Liyue characters are in your team, and gets significantly better with Refinement. With four Liyue characters (Shenhe counts), it gives a 28% Attack and 12% Crit Rate boost in addition to the Attack sub-stat Lithic Spear already gives.

Shenhe Artifacts

Thankfully, Shenhe has a straightforward Artifact build. You want Attack% in your main-stats for the Sands, Goblet and Circlet. If you want her to pull some duty as a sub-DPS, you can give her Crit Damage or Rate on the Circlet.

Since your Attack% is your main-stats, the sub-stats you’re looking for will be flat Attack, Crit Rate or Damage, and Energy Recharge.

2 Gladiator’s Finale / 2 Shimenawa’s Reminiscence

4 Noblesse Oblige

This gives her bonus utility when using her Elemental Burst, as the 20% Attack buff from the four-piece Noblesse Oblige affects every member of your party, Shenhe included for double buffing. The two-piece 20% Elemental Burst Damage on top of it is a nice bonus.
