Nothing beats waking up on Christmas morning and unwrapping the gift you’ve been waiting all year for. With Xbox Game Pass, it’s like you’re getting a bundle of games — all for one affordable price.

As a child, I was fortunate to receive quite a few games on my Christmas list — usually the holiday blockbusters. But if they had Xbox Game Pass when I was younger, I can’t imagine a better gift.

Rather than one or two new games, Xbox Game Pass boasts a library of over 100 different titles. An assortment of games that span a variety of genres.

Among these games are all Xbox first-party titles, available on day one. This year just so happens to have been one of the best in terms of Xbox exclusives. Among the exclusives that came to Xbox this year, and Xbox Game Pass at the same time, were The Artful Escape, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Forza Horizon 5, The Ascent, Sable and, most recently, Halo Infinite.

Odds are, if the person you are shopping for is a gamer and they own an Xbox, Halo Infinite is at the top of the list. Xbox Game Pass not only gets them access to Halo Infinite but all of the abovementioned games as well. Plus third party titles such as Mortal Kombat 11, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Firewatch, Among Us, Stardew Valley, A Way Out, A Plague Tale: Innocence, and more.  It’s also a rotating library, which means every month some older titles are shuffled out for newer titles.

Xbox Game Pass will also include all future Bethesda titles now that Microsoft acquired the studio. This means upcoming sci-fi blockbuster Starfield will also be playable through it. And eventually The Elder Scrolls 6 as well.

Imagine waking up as a child and having access to this massive library of games. A library that includes this holiday season’s biggest game in Halo Infinite. A library that includes some of next year’s biggest Xbox games as well.

Xbox Game Pass is, without a doubt, the best deal in gaming. And it makes the perfect gift this holiday season. That said, make sure the person you’re buying it for has an Xbox or gaming PC because it wouldn’t do much good if they only have a PlayStation or Nintendo Switch.

There are multiple plans to choose from as well. The Ultimate Plan is the top tier for $14.99/month and includes over 100 games that you can play across console, PC and mobile. This plan also includes entitlement for EA Play, a library of top Electronic Arts titles on console and PC, as well as Xbox Live Gold, which allows for console multiplayer and access to Games with Gold (four free games per month).

Next. Xbox Series S is this holiday season’s hottest console and for good reason. dark

If the gamer plays on PC, you can get the PC Game Pass for $9.99/month. This comes with library of 100-plus PC games, including Xbox Game Studios titles, as well as EA Play. There’s also Xbox Game Pass specifically for console for only $9.99/month.
