Halo Infinite highlights December’s blockbuster Xbox Game Pass lineup
If you’re an Xbox owner, it’s quite clear that Xbox Game Pass has been a must have. If you’ve resisted the urge to sign up for Microsoft’s gaming subscription service then perhaps the launch of Halo Infinite will convince you.
The latest installment in Microsoft’s flagship first-person shooter franchise is set to launch on December 8. Although the free-to-play multiplayer arrived last month, fans will finally be able to continue the adventures of Master Chief with the release of the campaign. And if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can play it for absolutely free.
Halo Infinite is the highlight of the month, no doubt, but Xbox Game Pass is closing out the month with a bang. Multiple games have already been added to the Xbox Game Pass library this month, including the following games on December 2:
- Anvil (Console, PC)
- Archvale (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Final Fantasy XIII-2 (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Lawn Mowing Simulator (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Rubber Bandits (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Stardew Valley (Cloud, Console, PC
- Warhammer 40K: Battlesector (Cloud, Console, PC)
But there’s even more to look forward to. Coming on December 7 is Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator (Cloud, Console, PC), a sci-fi strategy simulation game in which you buy, sell and trade alien organs. Halo Infinite (Cloud, Console, PC), of course, is on December 8.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 (Cloud, Console, PC) will arrive on December 9. This is an action-adventure based on the popular anime series.
On December 14, two more games will be coming to Xbox Game Pass, including one we’ve been waiting forever to make its console debut.
Among Us, the online multiplayer deduction game with rules inspired by Mafia, which took the world by storm during the early pandemic days, will be coming to Xbox and will be a Xbox Game Pass title at launch. Developer Innersloth just recently released The Role & Cosmicube update featuring adjustable Roles, an all-new store and a progression system.
Lastly, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is also coming to Xbox Game Pass. The cooperative third person survival shooter, based on the Aliens film franchise, will be available on Cloud, Console and PC on December 14.

These are all the games Microsoft made note of coming to Xbox Game Pass in December, but there could be a few more surprises in the latter half of the month.
