For such a hefty upgrade price, your getting access to a limited library of N64 and SEGA Genesis games at launch, including the recently announced Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise paid DLC.

Among the N64 launch titles are Mario Kart 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, Dr. Mario 64, Star Fox 64, and more. Additional titles are also planned to arrive in the future, like Banjo-Kazooie, Pokemon Snap, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, and Paper Mario.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is quite a price hike from what Nintendo Switch fans have been paying — more than double the current cost — but puts the service more in line with other gaming subscription services like Sony’s PlayStation Plus and Microsoft Xbox Live Gold (both $59.99 per year). The addition of beloved retro games is a nice perk, but until the library is more fleshed out, I’m not so sure it’s worth the price increase right now.
