Continuing our coverage of Marvel Future Revolution, today we’re taking a look at Black Widow. In Netmarble’s latest free-to-play mobile game, you have access to eight different playable characters: Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Storm, Star-Lord, Iron Man, and, of course, Black Widow.

In this article, we’ll be looking at Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow — the character Joss Whedon is never allowed to near again. We’re going to get into her story and, following that, her various costumes and how she controls.

Disclaimer: For the intent of writing about each of the eight characters, I was provided currency codes allowing me to unlock the additional slots so I could experience each character.

Black Widow’s story starts in a place called the Savage Shadowland. It’s a place of both ninjas and dinosaurs which sounds like something directly out of my favorite 90’s cartoon that never existed.

We find Natasha hungry like the proverbial wolf for information on missing children and she’s gonna punch HAND ninjas until she learns what she wants to know.

Along the way, she saves some of the kids and finds the secret location of the older ones. She finds them, their eyes blackened, sparring with each other one-on-one in training. This gives Black Widow flashbacks to her time in the Red Room when she went through something similar.

She needs a distraction. Luckily for her and no one else, they have a dinosaur in a cage. She unleashes it, fights a couple more ninjas and then finds out who is behind this whole thing: Daredevil. Well, an evil HAND ninja Daredevil that has decided he’s gonna kidnap kids and turn them into the next generation of ninjas.

You fight the evil Daredevil (insert lawyer joke here) and come to a standstill where he asks the kids if they want freedom or if they continue to be trained. They all head back inside with Daredevil. Before Black Widow can do anything else, a portal opens and fancy Starktech her from another reality shows up and invites her into Omega Flight because, apparently, it’s really easy to distract Natasha from saving other kids in danger. Then the main game begins.

Now, let’s get into the costumes and controls.
