As we close out May and enter June, we turn the calendar page from Spring to Summer. And that means the next major update for Clash of Clans should be on the way.

If Supercell sticks to its quarterly release schedule, the next Clash of Clans update will arrive in Summer 2021. Depending on the scope and scale of the next update, it could arrive as early as June. That’s when last year’s Summer update came, although this year’s Spring update was slightly later than usual.

Either way, expect the update to come within the next few weeks. Presumably, Supercell will begin the sneak peeks as well, but in the meantime, let’s speculate as to what the update will contain.

The Spring update was a big one, introducing Town Hall 14 and tons of defensive building upgrades to go along with it. It also introduced Hero Pets and the Defensive Builder’s Hut. These were all great additions to the game, but some players were disappointed that the Spring update didn’t feature more Super Troops or higher Troop levels to counter the new defensive upgrades.

I think that will change with the Clash of Clans Summer 2021 update. Supercell is keen on releasing these powered-up Super troops semi-regularly and it would seem we’re due for some new ones. Same goes for new Troop levels. Some are speculating we could even get a new Siege Machine.

In addition to this speculation, it’s believed that Supercell may have even snuck a sneak peek of some upgraded defense levels in the recent Jungle Warden trailer. Spotted by House of Clashers, it appears the trailer featured a new maximum level for the Air Defenses, Wizard Tower and Archer Tower buildings.

House of Clashers also believes new War Scenery will be coming to the game after Supercell promoted the contest on the Supercell Make platform.

This is all we have to go on right now, but I’m sure the speculation will ramp up as we get closer to the Clash of Clans Summer 2021 update. In the meantime, let us know what you’d like to see by commenting below!
