Teamfight Tactics Festival of Beasts has arrived on the Public Beta Environment. Here’s how to download and play TFT on PBE.

Teamfight Tactics Set 4.5, Festival of Beasts, won’t officially make its way to the live servers until January 21. However, the mid-set update is currently playable on the PBE.

For those unfamiliar, the PBE is the Public Beta Environment. This is where Riot ships its patches before launch to allow the community to play the latest changes and updates before it goes live to the masses.

Currently, TFT Festival of Beasts is live on PBE and if you’re interested in trying out all of the new champions and traits, you can register for an account. However, your main account must be in good standing (no current bans) and you must be honor level 3 or above.

Simply head to this link and login with your account. If you already have a PBE account, you can download the client here. It’s that simple!

As for TFT Festival of Beasts, the new set removes a total of 19 champions and six traits but replaces them with 20 new and returning champions along with seven new traits (two that are unique). Syphoner, Executioner, Slayer, Dragonsoul, Daredevil, Fabled and Blacksmith are the new traits featured in Set 4.5.

While the core mechanics of TFT will remain the same, a new one will shake things up a bit. The Lucky Lantern has a chance to drop mid-game and reward all players with a randomized item (every player receives the same item though). This can be gold, item components, Neeko’s, Force of Nature or one of the new consumables (Shop Reroller, Item Reroller, Item Remover Training Dummy).

Again, Teamfight Tactics Festival of Beasts is scheduled to go live on January 21. Until then, hop on the PBE and give some of the new champions and traits a test run.
