You Can Make It Your Own

I’ve mentioned in this article how you can customize things but there’s no good way to fully get it into someone’s head HOW MUCH you can customize here. An ever-growing list of clothing items and hairstyles help make your character your own. If the clothing isn’t enough you can make them, drawing whatever you want on it.

You can lay out furniture in your home and lay out new floors and wallpaper however you’d like. Maybe even setting up an uncomfortable amount of TVs in one room solely to catch a weird alien sighting.

But most surprisingly, you can customize the entire island. My island, for example, has been mostly flattened with modern streets complete with crosswalks, telephone poles and street lamps. I’ll fly to a friend’s house to find a garden community with caverns and peaks all over the place. And if I want to fill the landscape with trees that literally grow money. Heck, let’s do it. I can even have my character lay down in bed and view other people’s islands in a dream state just to see what else I can do I never thought of.

With all this, you can truly make the entire game your own…and then visit a friend’s island and see what they did with there’s. Possibilities have never been so endless.
