Warframe revisions

While this doesn’t fully tie into the very popular Helminth system of the game, some frames are getting touch ups in terms of underperforming or underutilized abilities. The biggest one is Chroma; he can now switch elements mid mission, with a mechanic that works similarly to Ivara’s quiver ability, or Vauban’s minelayer. Chroma’s spectral scream ability will also have a 100% status chance and chains between affected enemies. This is huge because now my theory crafting mindset is wondering if this change can make Chroma more than just an Eidolon hunter now.

Ash is getting a bit of a tweak to his blade storm. The manual targeting will now become an automatic three-enemy overlay. This means he’ll be able to still be in combat without changing the pace. Zephyr is getting an overall damage buff to her airburst ability, and her Tornado ultimate will be given more utility. The tornado will be on a tap or hold mechanic, with the tap making her tornadoes be more stationary while holding the ability to cast will make them more mobile. They will also hold enemies better, giving her better crowd control uses.

Atlas’ bulwark from his tectonics ability is gaining an area-of-effect damage bonus. This will hopefully give him more crowd control or just an overall better use to one of his more forgettable abilities. Nekros’ soul punch ability will be an instant kill when an enemy is below 25% health and will also become an undead specter in his shadows of the dead. Finally, Nidus’ larva ability will have a chance to generate more stacks if affected enemies are killed in it. This makes him even more stronger as a solo frame, but also not too shabby of a pick in groups.
