Warframe: Nights of Naberus Halloween event is now live
Here’s how to get started to earn limited-time goodies in Warframe’s Halloween event.
To some people’s disappointment, it seems that there won’t be another run for the Plague Star in the distant future. What we do have is the Nights of Naberus event, and it’s actually a well-integrated one given the ease of participation. To get started, make sure you have access to Deimos, just off of Mars, and head to the Necralisk. You’ll realize the Necralisk name isn’t there, though. It’s now called Nights of Naberus with a pumpkin as a node icon in the meantime.
Once you’re there, head to Daughter and she can get you started. This time around there aren’t any special requirements or special missions accompanying this event. As you’ll see, Daughter will have an extra option when you speak to her— Naberus Treats. This isn’t so much of an event, but rather a 25-day limited time sale for event-exclusive items for players to snag.
These items include cosmetics like Day of the Dead skins for some weapons and even the newly added Necramechs from the initial Heart of Deimos update. Other items include sigils, glyphs, orbiter decorations, ephemeras, the Hallow’s Eve color palette, and even the very popular plague zaw parts and zaw arcanes. Unfortunately and unlike the Plague Star event, there are no rare fish and gem parts or fully built formas.
In order to get these limited-time wares from Daughter, all you need to do is exchange Mother tokens for them. It’s simple enough and doesn’t detract from your progression in Deimos. My recommendations as a veteran player is to farm up a sizable amount of mother tokens and start by buying the plague zaw parts and the color palette. The rest is in the air for your picking.
To stock up quickly on Mother tokens, I’d suggest farming level 3 and 4 bounties out in the Cambion Drift. The missions aren’t hard or too drawn out, the rewards are good per level, and net the most tokens per hour. They’re also usually the most populated missions when playing in public groups.
Another way to accrue tokens is by doing the Isolation Vaults. This is a much slower method, but nets tons of precious crafting materials, mech parts, and Necraloid standing while passively earning Mother tokens. If you want that necramech skin but don’t even have a mech yet, this is the way to go. Keep in mind, to really maximize earnings, you’ll want to do the bonus objective in each bounty!
The Nights of Naberus event is live now until November 9 at 11 AM PT/ 2PM ET. Make sure not miss out on exclusive cosmetics and weapon parts!
