It’s been an interesting past few months in the streaming world with a Dr. Disrespect ban and Mixer shutting down, but here are some streamers worth watching on Twitch.

There’s been no word on what’s going on with DrDisrespect, but the streaming world isn’t ruled by him and Ninja. The last four months have had me watching more Twitch in my downtime. Game streams can do everything — give a sense of community, provide entertainment (either through personality or skilled gameplay) and provide critique of the newest titles to release.

It’s been especially important for me to find streamers that align with values I hold dearly… those of acceptance and kindness. Toxic streamers are aplenty, but ones that can make you feel good inside while watching, those are special. So here are 10 streamers you should be watching on Twitch — streamers of different community sizes and popularity, that stream different games, and have different personalities.

Enjoy and give a follow to them if you’re digging what you’re reading/seeing.

One of my favorite things to do is find and support streamers that are either just starting out or those that have been grinding to make their streaming dream come true. Bix has been working hard to grow his community, and it’s paying off. A variety streamer in his 30s (maybe that’s another reason why I support him), the main games he plays on stream are Mario Kart 8, Rocket Arena, Bleeding Edge, Tetris 99, Spellbreak, Arena of Valor (on Switch) and Paladins.

He doesn’t chase after the big titles. He plays multiplayer games that he can enjoy with his small but active and extremely passionate community. If you follow or subscribe to his channel, you’re welcome to join him in multiplayer on his streams. Another thing that drew me into Bix’s stream was his love of music and musicals. You can use channel points to request songs for him to sing. It’s a nice, humanizing, personal element to his streams (he loves anything Disney or Newsies). If you’re looking for streamer and community founded on love and acceptance, look no further.

BBXH

BBXH has been streaming since 2016. Although she has streamed Hearthstone and Clash Royale in the past, she’s mainly a Sea of Thieves streamer Monday – Friday. I found BBXH when I was looking for Sea of Thieves streams to chill and watch. Though I still haven’t booted up the game to this day, BBXH offers an entertaining weekday morning to afternoon stream for you to chill to, drink some coffee and have on while you’re going about your work day.

She’s also another streamer with a very active and accepting community, so don’t be afraid to converse with others in chat. Her gaming brand also has a focus on health and fitness, so it’s another perk to following BBXH.
