Following the return of Vikendi alongside Season 7, PUBG Corp. has released a 1990’s TV special named “Mysteries Unknown”, narrated by acclaimed actor Jonathan Frakes to share more information on exactly what happened with Dinoland on Vikendi.

PUBG Corp. recently rolled out Season 7 to players on both PC and Console. The latest update features the brand-new Survivor Pass: Cold Front and welcomes the reimagined map of Vikendi. The map returned to live servers following its hiatus during Season 6, where it was reinforced by a variety of new features and adjustments, widely based on player feedback.

The renovations to Vikendi have been well received by a large portion of the player base. Alterations to the weather, town and building layouts, terrain (including the brightness of snow), as well as the methods to navigate the map, have been made for the better. A shared theme between Season 7 and the update to Vikendi revolves around the popular looting location Dinoland. The site was already a community favorite prior to its extensive remodeling, which expanded on the park’s scale and created endless hot-drop possibilities.

Along with an extensive update to the surface of Vikendi, additional detail has gone into developing the story behind the island and its various attractions. What happened on Vikendi to draw the harsh contest of Battle Royale to the island?

PUBG Corp. has released a newly uncovered 1990’s TV special named “Mysteries Unknown”, narrated by acclaimed actor Jonathan Frakes to share more information on exactly what happened with Dinoland and Vikendi, and how it ultimately became host to the Battle Royale game.

The TV special jumps into unknown secrets of the island, including the rise and fall of the Vikendi’s founder, billionaire Carl Johann Lindh. The downfall began inside Europe’s most popular amusement park with the sudden death of the park’s beloved mascot, Alex the T-Rex. Coincidentally, the mascot was named after Carl Lindh’s son – who has been described by many as a boy with “peculiar behavior”.

With additional tragedies occurring in the following years, it’s difficult not to notice the possibility that the boy could have been involved in each of them. Was it simply unfortunate circumstances? Perhaps a family curse? Or, could the downfall of the island’s amusement park and the numerous tragic accidents surrounding the Lindh family include Alex?

To discover all that Season 7 has to offer, be sure to hop into the recently renovated map of Vikendi for yourself.
